Todd Smith has an Associates Degree in Electronics from Northeast State College. I have worked in industrial Electronics for near 20 years. I got started building and modding amps about 7-8 years ago when my trusty old Laney was in need of a cap job. I tuned it up and used it to learn to apply my electronics background to the tube circuits for the next couple of years. Then I built a few clones of various Marshalls and a Matchless or 2. For the past 4 years I have been kept busy building amps to sell as well as modding and repairing a variety of amps, from vintage Fenders and Marshalls, to run of the mill solid state amps.
